De Dino-Lite AM5116T maakt rechtstreeks verbinding met een VGA-scherm via een VGA (D-SUB) connector. Het biedt een hoge frame rate van maximaal 60 beelden per seconde op 1024x768 (XGA) resolutie, wat resulteert in kristalheldere beelden.

De AM5116T is de ideale keuze in situaties waar real-time beelden van vitaal belang zijn, zoals het werken aan PCB's of andere miniatuur voorwerpen. Door de Microtouch sensor op de microscoop aan te raken kan de afbeelding worden bevroren voor de inspectie van belangrijke gegevens. Als de sensor gedurende 2 seconden wordt ingedrukt, kunnen de LED's worden aan-en uitgeschakeld.
