De AM7515MT8A is een 5MP Dino-Lite Edge microscoop met een vergrotingsbereik van 700-900x en ingebouwde coaxiale verlichting. De Flexible LED Control (FLC) maakt het mogelijk om gebruik te maken van twee verschillende soorten verlichting: helderveld en coaxiale verlichting, of een combinatie van die twee.

Met behulp van de coaxiale verlichtingstechniek kunnen details worden bekeken die onder normale lichtomstandigheden moeilijk te zien zijn, bijvoorbeeld bij het bestuderen van wafers, microchips of andere micro-electronica. De AM7515MT8A ondersteunt de Automatic Magnification Reading (AMR) functie, die de vergroting automatisch herkent en weergeeft met behulp van de bijgeleverde Dino-Lite software.

Door deze unieke eigenschappen is de Dino-Lite AM7515MT8A een prima instrument, dat bijzonder geschikt is voor materiaalanalyse, elektronica-inspectie of ander onderzoek waarbij een hoge vergroting, coaxiale verlichting, veelzijdigheid en draagbaarheid van belang zijn. De Dino-Lite AM7515MT8A wordt geleverd met de gebruiksvriendelijke DinoCapture 2.0 software voor Windows. Dit omvat verschillende functies die met dit model kunnen worden gebruikt, waaronder Automatic Magnification Reading (AMR), Flexible LED Control (FLC), calibratie, metingen, notities en opslag van beelden en video-opnames. Om goed scherp te kunnen stellen raden wij aan het instrument te gebruiken in combinatie met een hoge-precisie statief. De Dino-Lite RK-10A bijvoorbeeld, is hiervoor zeer geschikt. Het is een robuust en stabiel statief, gemaakt van sterk roestvrij staal en lichtgewicht aluminium, met een zeer precieze fijn-focus afstelling.
